Rep. Stovall honors Ludacris at the Capitol

State Representative Valencia Stovall led the Georgia House of Representatives in recognizing multi-platinum selling recording artist Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, founder of The Ludacris Foundation, on Thursday, March 19, 2015.  

“I was honored to welcome Ludacris to the State Capitol,” said Rep. Stovall.  “Not only is he a successful artist, but he is also an outstanding citizen of this state. Through his foundation, he has uplifted and inspired young people, showing them that they are architects of their own futures.”

Chris “Ludacris” Bridges loves the state of Georgia and currently resides in the state. He is a recording artist, actor, and rapper, record label executive, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and hip-hop culture icon. 

The Ludacris Foundation helps Atlanta youth and donates time and money to the community.  Since 2001, the foundation has donated more than $1.5 million to organizations and programs that help youth and has invested more than 5,000 hours in hands-on service to young people across the United States.
